So, I have a little bit of a backlog to get through on my blog. It may be late, but I didn’t want to miss out on the chance to highlight one of my favorite sessions of the winter season. Truthfully, because of the amount of snow we had this year, Maizey the horse was one of the few animals that could actually handle being outdoors! The rest of the session was made even more beautiful by good friends, a gorgeous subject, a fresh snowfall and perfect morning light.

Knowing that I could lay by the fire and drink hot tea afterward certainly didn’t hurt either!

Thank you to Serenity Farm in Byron Center for the beautiful setting.
