A few months ago I spent three very fun (but exhausting!) days photographing more than 30 rescued and adopted animals in their new homes. I haven’t been able to share that work until now, but I’m excited to say that the photos now have a new home of their own on the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s new Web site.

You may recognize BISSELL Pet Foundation as the wonderful people behind BISSELL BLOCKTAIL Party, or as a grant provider to many of West Michigan’s animal welfare organizations. Their new site is a great resource for requesting funding, learning about the state of shelter animals in Michigan and getting in on upcoming events.

What was really fun about this photo shoot was getting to see all these former adoptables in their new homes. Each one was a great story of second chances and unexpected love. And as you can tell by the photos, these animals have settled into their forever homes and have no intentions of giving up the good lives they have found!

I want to thank Leslie Black and BISSELL Pet Foundation for the opportunity to create the photos for the new Web site, and I encourage everyone to check out the new site as a great resource for helping pets find their way home.
