I’ve been waiting a long time to capture Otis in his favorite location: the snow. Winter weather came late to West Michigan this year, but I’m not complaining. I could do without the snow, but this Newfoundland loves it! This gentle giant is covered in thick, black fur, and he looks perfectly comfortable laying in the lawn in the middle of a snowstorm.

Otis isn’t exactly energetic, so he was a breeze to shoot. Mom Lisa tried to engage him in a little snowball fight, but he wasn’t budging. He preferred to sit and survey his kingdom. Otis’s massive size and regal style make him the most recognized dog in his neighborhood!
